Resilient Futures: Philanthropy in the Year 2020
Research Manager Rachel Lyle Hatch has studied and worked in Thailand, Ireland, Poland, and the US. Her current forecasting efforts are focused on external future forces affecting social connectivity, leadership, caregiving, and faith. She is developing an immersive learning experience to help leaders and future leaders experience the world of the future and the new leadership skills that will be required to thrive. She is leading a project on the future of active giving, and contributing to a collaborative storytelling initiative for the public good as well as a digital storytelling workshop. Rachel is working with both corporations and nonprofit agencies.
She holds an M. Div. from Yale Divinity School, a M. Phil. from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, and a B.A. in religion & psychology from St. Olaf College. She has a particular interest in world religions and how people will engage with "meaning making" in the next decade. Rachel also serves as a representative of the Episcopal Church on the National Council of Churches. Learn more about Instutite for the Future
